Job description: A leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking CAD Coordinator (Civil/Survey) to oversee CAD operations and drive excellence across civil engineering and land surveying projects. If youre an AutoCAD Civil 3D expert who thrives on innovation, problem-solving, and elevating technical teams, this is an opportunity to make a major impact.This role blends technical mastery, operational leadership, and hands-on project delivery, giving you the chance to shape CAD standards, mentor staff, and contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects.What Youll DoLead and support all aspects of CAD-driven plan preparation and productionMaintain, refine, and expand internal CAD standards to improve efficiency and accuracyDevelop and implement CAD and software policies and proceduresManage and update AutoCAD styles, templates, and databasesTroubleshoot technical issues and provide software support to project teamsReview base models, surfaces, and drawings, resolving discrepancies or gapsTrain and mentor staff to elevate technical skills and proficiency in CAD and related softwareCoordinate with external CAD consultantsOversee quality control processes, ensuring precision, consistency, and complianceContribute to a wide range of civil engineering and land surveying projects Qualifications: What Youll Bring10+ years of professional experience in Civil or Survey disciplinesExpert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with MicroStation, Trimble Business Center, Cyclone, or Revit is a strong plusDegree or technical school education in a Civil/Survey-related field preferredHighly organized, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentMotivated, collaborative, and eager to adopt new technologiesA natural problem-solver with strong communication and teamwork skills Why is This a Great Opportunity: Youll play a central role in shaping the technical backbone of a growing engineering organization.
