Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role: Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing care standards. Responsibilities: Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, alongside ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, and ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional considerations. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices. Qualifications: Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
