Pay Range: $20 to $22 per hour

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team. This is a part-time position supporting both our Homewood Suites and Staybridge Suites properties in Fairfield.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, communicates professionally, learns technology quickly, and can remain calm while handling multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
  
  
• Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and payment processing
  
  
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest questions
  
  
• Assist with reservations, requests, concerns, and basic hotel information
  
  
• Use hotel computer systems, email, and other workplace technology
  
  
• Communicate guest needs and property concerns to the appropriate departments
  
  
• Maintain an organized and professional front desk area
  
  
• Follow hotel procedures related to guest privacy, safety, payments, and security
  
  
• Help resolve guest concerns or promptly involve a manager when needed
  
  
• Support both hotel properties as scheduled
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required
  
  
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, reception, or another guest-facing role is strongly preferred
  
  
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
  
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
  
  
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  
  
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in helping guests
  
  
• Reliable transportation between the two neighboring hotel properties
  
  

Availability Requirements:

Applicants must have open availability based on hotel business needs, including:

• Weekdays and weekends
  
  
• Morning and evening shifts
  
  
• Holidays
  
  
• Changing schedules as occupancy and staffing needs require
  
  

This is a part-time position. Weekly hours and scheduled shifts may vary.
