Position Summary: The Supervisor, OSP is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of OSP activities, ensuring that products are outsourced to approved vendors, processed correctly and delivered on time. This position requires previous experience in Operations or Supply Chain in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. The Supervisor, OSP will work independently and in a team environment, and will collaborate with external vendors, Planners, Production, Quality, Engineering, Receiving, and internal team members.

Non-Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with vendors to optimize inventory levels, minimizing excess stock while ensuring timely material availability. Support the development of vendor performance metrics to evaluate quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vendor performance and logistics operations. Coordinate with the Manager, Domestic Logistics to manage and schedule the flow of goods with OSP vendors. Assist in streamlining delivery processes to reduce lead times and support efficient transfer of goods to and from the warehouse. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to support workflow and ensure operational efficiency. Support vendor relationship management by assisting with performance evaluations, addressing issues, and proactively engaging to meet quality, cost and delivery standards. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities with vendor management by analyzing trends and engaging with vendors. Ensure all vendor interactions and logistics operations comply with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory standards. Interview, select and properly train new hires. Provide coaching and mentoring to employees. Communicate with employees regarding career progression and through these discussions identify opportunities to develop future leaders of the organization. Address employee concerns in a fair and efficient manner. Provide clear and consistent feedback to all employees in a timely manner, documenting performance, and recognizing and rewarding employees for striving for excellence. Maintain communication between employees and leadership to ensure procedures and policies are well understood. Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the warehouse. Participate on problem solving teams for driving to root cause of internal and external quality failures, particularly related to prevention of customer escapes. Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain the area in good working order through sustainment activities, including requests for maintenance when needed for both personal space and multi-use department spaces. Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures. Miscellaneous duties as assigned. Education/Experience & Skills: High School diploma required, Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of Operations or Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of experience in leading a team is required. Ability to apply problem-solving, organization, and communication skills to effectively manage daily operations and resolve issues. Able to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Basic working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ERP and vendor management systems is required. Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form. Demonstrated ability to build effective vendor partnerships. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Working Conditions: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks. Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
