Maintenance Technician

This Industrial Maintenance Technician role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The position involves performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and supporting facility upkeep. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate repairs to production equipment during operational hours to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect equipment, replace defective components, and conduct tests to verify proper operation.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Assist with facility maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform maintenance activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.
• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives, including proper handling of materials and waste.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and assist with additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to work independently.

Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 / hour Shift: Available on Day, Afternoon, and Night Shifts

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits
