Lecturer - PSYC 331: Infancy and Childhood (Fall 2026) Job no: 559532 Work type: Instructional Faculty - Temporary/Lecturer Location: San Marcos Academic Year: 2026/2027 Semester: Fall 2026 Day/Time: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. College: College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences Course focuses on theories, methods, and research in developmental psychology from conception through childhood. Includes biological, genetic, and physical development; social‑emotional development, cognitive and language development; perception and brain development. Analysis and synthesis of scholarly articles are integral parts of this course. Qualifications Required Master's degree in psychology or a relevant field. Successful experience teaching at the college level. Must work in California under the CSU out‑of‑state employment policy. Preferred Doctorate in psychology or a relevant field. Higher education experience teaching a similar class. Research experience relevant to the course content. Intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community.
