Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patients' needs and physician direction. This role is critical in delivering high-quality patient care while upholding professional standards and compliance with the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
• Document patient care in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in a student program and provide supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts within the community.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain licensure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA.
• BLS Certification.
• One or more years of clinical experience.
• FEES Certification (if required).
