Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is actively seeking an experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner with ICU/Critical Care experience to support Pulmonary Services during the credentialing of new providers. This is a high-priority, ongoing opportunity with flexible scheduling and consistent monthly needs.

DATES NEEDED ACT FAST! June DAY SHIFTS

• 1, 2, 11, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 29, 30

July

Day Shifts:

• 1, 6, 9, 11, 12 24, 27

Night Shifts:

August (Flexible Buy-In)

• August ,
• Days or nights TBD closer to dates

Ongoing August & Beyond

• Shifts TBD
• Will work around locum availability as much as possible
• Minimum commitment: at least one coverage stint per month

Practice Details

• Setting: Inpatient ICU / Critical Care
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Census: 13 patients/day (range 1 20)
• APP Role: Working autonomously

Key Responsibilities

Vent management (with RT support)
Monitoring and managing critically ill patients
Assisting with decompensating patients (including overnight)
Admitting ICU patients from:

• ED
• Hospital floors
• Surrounding hospitals

Communicating with families and discussing goals of care

Procedures Required (MUST BE COMFORTABLE)

Central Venous Lines (CVLs)
Arterial lines
Hemodialysis catheters

Technology

• EMR: EPIC

Credentialing

• FAST turnaround: 2 4 weeks
