As a Security Officer - F/T Screener Associate in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Screener in a dynamic tech location, where you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and team members, support access control processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, agile, and innovative team culture built on reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
- Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive screening, visitor processing, and clear communication.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting security-related concerns and documenting activity based on site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
