This state-operated psychiatric hospital provides structured inpatient behavioral health services for adult patients requiring evaluation and ongoing psychiatric treatment. The facility maintains a multidisciplinary support team - including physicians, PMHNPs, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and case workers - to ensure continuity of care. Clinical workflows are designed to support comprehensive psychiatric treatment for adults presenting with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, acute psychosis, and other serious and persistent mental illness.

The psychiatric physician associate will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients Monday through Friday during regular business hours, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, completing admissions as assigned, providing medication management and follow-up care, and developing and updating treatment plans. The clinician will participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings alongside a multidisciplinary support team that includes physicians, PMHNPs, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and case workers.
