To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for an Overnight Front Desk Supervisor who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home and guide the team to success.Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:Coaching your team to deliver memorable guest experiences and the warmest of welcomesKicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomesAcknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phoneTaking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookingsMaking the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamlessStaying a step of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendationsBeing our guests' trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendationsOverseeing the reporting for the overnight processesWhat we need from you:Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management/ Business Administration3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experienceCommunication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk toYour problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memoriesFluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essentialWhat you can expect from us:We give our people everything they need to succeed. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Alexandria, VA. This is the starting rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
