Your Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review
- Engage in collaborative efforts with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Carefully position patients and make necessary equipment adjustments for the best imaging results
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and healthcare personnel
- Maintain meticulous records, including imaging logs and regular equipment checks
- Deliver compassionate care and support throughout every imaging process
- Help foster a safe, organized, and efficient workspace in the imaging department
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology is a must; bachelor's degree preferred
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is essential
Required Certifications
- Current ARRT certification (CT or radiography) required
- Valid BLS certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days after starting
