Full Benefits Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and driven Permanent Project Manager for Airport Construction to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen on leading and overseeing large-scale commercial projects, specifically in the field of airport construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires an individual who has a deep understanding of the construction industry, with a specific focus on airport construction, and is comfortable working with various stakeholders including the FAA and TSA. Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of airport construction projects.
2. Coordinate with a team of engineers, architects, and construction personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
4. Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
5. Liaise with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
7. Prepare and present detailed reports on the project's progress, costs, and performance.
8. Coordinate with the FAA, TSA, and other relevant agencies to ensure all projects are in compliance with necessary regulations and standards.
9. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring it is within project budget.
10. Resolve any issues or delays that may affect the timeline, budget, or quality of the project. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects, specifically in airport construction.
3. Proficient in project management software such as Procore and Prolog.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
6. Strong understanding of FAA and TSA regulations.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
8. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
9. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
10. Ability to make important decisions under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
11. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
