SFE Engineering is seeking a Marketing Specialist with SEO experience and website maintenance skills to join our team in Flushing. This is a full-time, on-site position within the Architecture/Planning industry, offering an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional to build a strong foundation in digital marketing while contributing to meaningful architectural projects.
As a Marketing Specialist at SFE Engineering, you will play a key role in strengthening our online presence, optimizing our website for search engines, and supporting our marketing initiatives across digital channels. You will work closely with our team to ensure our website remains current, functional, and aligned with our brand identity while helping to attract new clients and showcase our architectural and planning expertise.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to grow in a collaborative, on-site environment. Compensation for this position is provided in USD on a yearly basis, with opportunities to develop your skills and advance within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings
- Maintain and update the company website to ensure accuracy, functionality, and visual appeal
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engines
- Create and manage digital marketing content across various platforms
- Track and analyze website traffic and marketing metrics to inform strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
- Support the creation of marketing materials and presentations
- Assist in managing social media accounts and online engagement
- Stay informed about emerging SEO trends and digital marketing best practices
- Coordinate with external vendors or agencies when needed
- Provide regular reports on marketing and website performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Entry-level experience in digital marketing or SEO
- Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices
- Experience with website maintenance and content management systems
- Basic understanding of HTML and web analytics platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing channels
- Preferred: Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Preferred: Knowledge of the Architecture/Planning industry
