Customer Service Representative – Manufacturing

Location: Marietta, GA
Pay: Up to $25.00/hour, depending on experience
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for a well-established manufacturing company in Marietta. This is more than a traditional customer service or order entry position. We are looking for a higher-level customer service professional with experience managing customer accounts, handling pricing, processing orders, and following through on customer needs from start to finish.

This position will support government accounts , so attention to detail, professionalism, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and accounts
• Receive and process customer orders by phone, fax, and email
• Enter orders accurately into the company system
• Provide pricing and product information to customers
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
• Follow up on customer requests, orders, pricing, and issues through resolution
• Research and resolve customer questions or order discrepancies
• Maintain accurate customer and order information
• Develop strong working relationships with customers while providing a high level of service
• Handle multiple customer accounts and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Account management or account coordination experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with pricing, orders, and customer accounts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently
• Strong computer and data-entry skills
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong CSR who is ready for more responsibility and account ownership—but is not necessarily looking for an Account Manager position.
