Fund Product Analysts support investment teams and fund management professionals by analyzing fund products, monitoring fund performance, and assisting with the development and management of fund offerings.
The role blends quantitative analysis, market research, and product strategy to help optimize fund structures, enhance investor reporting, and support portfolio growth. Analysts collaborate closely with portfolio managers, product specialists, and client-facing teams to produce insights that inform fund strategy and positioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis on fund products, including performance, structure, and market positioning
Support fund product development, enhancements, and lifecycle management
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports for fund monitoring and strategy
Prepare presentations, investor materials, and client communications regarding fund products
Assist in evaluating fund offerings, including risk/return analysis, fee structures, and investor terms
Monitor capital flows, market trends, and competitor fund products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on portfolio performance reporting and investor requests
Identify opportunities to improve fund offerings, investor engagement, and operational efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or advanced degree is a plus
Strong understanding of fund products, capital markets, and private investment vehicles
Experience or coursework in private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit, or fund management
Advanced analytical skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software; familiarity with Python, SQL, or other analytical tools is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Interest in fund strategy, product development, and alternative investment solutions
