Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking dedicated Mechanical Engineers to support the design, development, testing, and production of power generation and power distribution equipment. Responsibilities + Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support the full lifecycle of products from concept to production. + Participate in the design, development, testing, and production of power generation and power distribution equipment. + Engage in cross-functional engineering collaboration to ensure successful product development and validation. + Take ownership of engineering tasks, driving them from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline. + Approximately 0-3 years of experience, including internships, co-ops, or hands-on engineering project experience. + Proficiency in mechanical design and product development. + Experience with CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Exposure to manufacturing environments and testing and validation activities. + Organizational abilities and the ability to work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. + Willingness to learn and grow in a product development environment. + Ability to travel up to 20%. Work Environment The role is primarily office-based with regular engagement at our manufacturing and R&D facilities, as well as job sites as needed. The work environment emphasizes hands-on engineering experiences rather than purely desk-based design work, offering a chance to gain exposure to both design engineering and manufacturing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
