Salary Range: $78,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for supplier quality processes.
• Participate in new product development to ensure supplier readiness and capability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficient in core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, APQP, PPAP).
• Experience performing supplier audits and driving corrective actions (8D methodology).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like PPAP, APQP, FMEAs, and Control Plans.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSQP, CMQ/OE).
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding, welding).
