We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Periscope Spine and Joint Rehab Center. This role is crucial in helping our patients regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide assessments, treatments, and personalized care plans aimed at optimizing patient recovery in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, spanning 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine. We pride ourselves on delivering superior care tailored to individuals recovering from musculoskeletal issues. Our focus is predominantly on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our treatments not only meet but exceed industry standards.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, offering a collaborative environment where you will work closely with a small team composed of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and patient-centered care, creating a supportive atmosphere aimed at professional development and continuous learning. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify objectives and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically handling one patient per hour while providing high-quality care.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' motion and mobility, focusing on cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting their active participation and commitment to recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate multidisciplinary approaches into patient care, optimizing therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide alternatives to surgery by minimizing reliance on medications through effective physical therapy interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Our clients range from athletes seeking rehabilitation from sports-related injuries to older adults managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We emphasize a tailored approach to fitness and wellness, ensuring that each patient's program is specifically designed around their individual needs and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, ideally with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise regimens.
• Expertise in navigating EMR software platforms, specifically systems like WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
