Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Marysville, Kansas. This travel assignment starts on 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks, with weekly pay ranging from $1,847 to $1,869. The shift is nights, 7:00 pm–7:00 am, on a 3x12-hour schedule. Employment type: Travel – Temporary Assignment. Work will occur in a healthcare facility setting. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings, including assessments, care planning, and documentation in the electronic health record Administer medications, including IV medications, per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed Monitor patient status continuously, interpret vital signs, and elevate changes in condition to the medical team promptly Collaborate with interdisciplinary teammates to coordinate tests, treatments, analgesia, and discharge planning; educate patients and families on care plans Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection control practices, and participate in shift handoffs and on‑call requirements Adapt to unit needs in a Critical Access Hospital environment; perform duties in both Med Surg and ER as assigned; demonstrate teamwork and flexibility Requirements Active RN license in Kansas or a multi‑state (compact) license BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Experience in Med Surg and Emergency Department settings; CAH experience preferred Proficiency with IV medications and IV therapy Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) on a 3x12 schedule Eligible for travel assignments and able to work in Marysville, KS Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment management and ongoing support throughout the contract Weekly pay per week: $1,847–$1,869 Credentialing assistance to expedite start and maintain compliance Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
