Production Technician (Automotive Installer)

Location: Columbus, OH, 43207-2844
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Do you enjoy working with your hands and building quality products? Are you looking for work in the Columbus, OH area? Qualified Staffing is hiring Production Technicians (Automotive Installers) for our client, a leading truck equipment manufacturer, and we want you!

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Install service bodies, platforms, dump bodies, and van packages on commercial vehicles
• Install hoists, electrical components and circuits, ladder racks, Sortimo units, and other light mechanical assemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Meet daily production and quality standards
• Work independently and collaboratively within a production team environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and battery-operated tools safely and effectively
• Utilize equipment such as cutting torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in the truck equipment, automotive, or related industry preferred
• Ability to work against production standards and meet completion goals
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Must provide own basic tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized workspace
