Quick Facts Location: 2720 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, SC 29169 Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date/Duration: 6 months (preferred), 3 months considered Shift: 4x10s (07:00 - 17:00), Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Valid CRNA certification, SC or Compact license, ACLS, BLS, PALS preferred Experience Required: Minimum 1 year cardiac anesthesia experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $261.30 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Dedicated support team throughout assignment What You ll Do Provide cardiac anesthesia care for procedures including CABGs, valve surgeries, aortic root repairs, lung surgeries, laser lead removals, rib plating, and small ECMO cases Participate in scheduled call shifts one evening call and one weekend every 6 weeks Collaborate with a specialized cardiac anesthesia team in a Level III trauma hospital Manage approximately 2-5 cases per day, with minimal call-outs during evening or weekend shifts Utilize Epic EMR (highly preferred) for documentation and patient tracking Support ongoing cardiac cases in a high-volume surgical setting What You Need Required: Valid CRNA certification and SC or compact state license Minimum 1 year cardiac or cardiothoracic anesthesia experience Preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications Willingness to obtain SC license if only holding a compact license About the Assignment This role is based at a leading hospital in West Columbia, SC, focusing exclusively on cardiac surgical cases.
