IT Quality Assurance Analyst

IT Quality Assurance AnalystWe are seeking an experienced IT Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the stabilization, enhancement, and ongoing quality assurance of a business-critical Salesforce-based application. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and product owners to ensure that all application changes meet functional, performance, and quality standards before release.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in Agile/Scrum environments, and comfortable owning end-to-end QA activities, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & TestingDevelop, maintain, and execute QA plans, test strategies, and test scenariosCreate detailed test cases, scripts, and procedures based on functional and business requirementsPerform manual and automated testing, including regression testingFacilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end usersEnsure testing is completed and documented prior to all releasesDefect Management & ReportingIdentify, document, track, and communicate defects with clear reproduction stepsCollaborate with developers to validate fixes and retest resolved defectsAnalyze test results and quality metrics to identify trends and improvement areasProduce regular QA status reports, metrics, and release readiness summariesCollaboration & Process ImprovementWork closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and project managersSupport refinement of user stories and acceptance criteriaRecommend improvements to QA processes, tools, and best practicesMaintain accurate QA documentation and knowledge sharing artifactsTools & EnvironmentUse Azure DevOps as the system of record for test plans, scenarios, defects, and trackingParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesSupport testing for integrations, APIs, and configuration-based Salesforce functionalityRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in IT / Software Quality AssuranceStrong experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test strategiesHands-on experience with Agile / Scrum testing methodologiesExperience with manual testing and exposure to automated testingProficient with Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools for QA trackingExperience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience testing Salesforce-based applicationsExperience in regulated industries (government, healthcare, financial services, etc.)Familiarity with API testing and system integrationsExperience with test automation tools (e.g. TriOptus
