Ultrasound Technologist - PRN

Role Overview The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures to produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. They provide compassionate patient care, ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and safety, while evaluating and preparing patients for exams. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting images, patient histories, and lab values, relaying findings to physicians, and participating in quality improvement and audit processes. They may assist in training students and new staff, and must demonstrate proficiency across various ultrasound modalities, including vascular exams. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an approved ultrasonography program with ARDMS or ARRT certification/registration Preferred: Advanced modality registration in Ultrasound Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience (preferred) Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and uphold ethical practices Additional Requirements Proficiency in interpreting instructions and making impactful decisions Training in electronic health record systems (EPIC) and PACS preferred Compensation Range: $35.82 - $55.52 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay, health coverage, paid time off, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr The VIOS Clinic
