Phlebotomist

Job Description

Job Description Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to support their cline tin High Point, NC. This person will perform blood collections across all age groups, including pediatric patients, while providing strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, comfortable with computers, and able to maintain accuracy while moving quickly.

Day-to-Day • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and other services • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis • Enter patient information accurately and efficiently • Process billing information and collect payments when required • Maintain patient and specimen logs • Provide excellent customer service • Complete administrative and clerical duties Hours: Monday- 8-5 Wednesday 8-5 Thursday 8-5 Friday 8-5

****** Tuesdays - Ability to work at the High Point PSC if they choose to - or they can have the day off

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves • High school diploma or GED • Phlebotomy certification, completed phlebotomy training program, Approximately 2 years of total phlebotomy experience preferred • 1 year of pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred • Comfortable with data entry, email, and basic computer tasks • Reliable transportation • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Plusses • Experience in a high-volume environment • Strong specimen-processing and data-entry experience
