Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (Variable shifts between 11:00 AM – 3:00 AM) | Every other weekend and every other holiday | No on-call or call-back required | Floating not required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment at a Level II Trauma facility
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions across variable evening and overnight shifts
• Accurately interpret and respond to 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia findings
• Document all patient care activities using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or valid Compact State RN license
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• AHA PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam
• Proficiency in Epic EMR with documented use within the last year required
• Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric emergency nursing experience
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma center
• Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing change in a dynamic environment
