About the Position

Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Psychiatric Peds, Psychiatric Geriatric, Psychiatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: CPR Certification Must-Have: - Experience in Psychiatric nursing is required. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills necessary for patient interaction. Description: The position involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric, geriatric, and adult psychiatric patients. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, nursing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires monitoring patients' mental and physical health and implementing care plans. Participation in crisis intervention and crisis management is essential. You will also document patient progress and participate in treatment teams. Holiday coverage is required as part of the position. This is a rapid response crisis position ideally suited for professionals with a strong background in psychiatric nursing.
