Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Medical Center Patrol in Newport CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and respond professionally to concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents patient or visitor concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations incidents and actions taken in clear accurate reports and provide information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
