Location: Delaware

Pay: Up to $30/hour (based on school bus driving experience)

Schedule: Split shift 3.5 hours in the morning & 3.5 hours in the afternoon

What You'll Do

• Safely transport students and other passengers on assigned routes and trips
• Create a friendly, clean, and safe bus environment
• Monitor student behavior and maintain discipline consistent with school policies
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and route instructions
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents when needed
• Provide coverage and flexibility as required by the Transportation Manager

What We're Looking For

• Previous school bus driving experience preferred
• Valid Delaware CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements (required)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Dependable, alert, and safety-minded with a professional appearance
• Strong knowledge of Delaware roadways and ability to learn routes quickly
• Cooperative, team-oriented, and able to work with a diverse population

Requirements

• Favorable Criminal Background and Child Abuse Registry Check
• Negative pre-employment drug screen
• Favorable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Current Tuberculin Test
• Mandatory direct deposit for payroll
