Industrial Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianPay Rate: $30 – $38/hourSchedule: 7PM – 7AM | 3 on, 2 off, every other weekendLocation: Dickson, TNOverviewWe're hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume, uptime-critical manufacturing operation in Dickson, TN. This is a night shift role in a production environment where equipment reliability directly impacts output, and technicians are expected to take ownership of issues and drive fast, effective resolutions. We're looking for a technician who is electrically strong first, with the ability to diagnose issues down to the PLC level (no programming required), while also being mechanically capable enough to support repairs and keep production running.What You'll DoDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production equipmentTroubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (inputs/outputs, sensors, drives — no programming)Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtimeSupport repairs on motors, VFDs, sensors, and control componentsIdentify root cause of failures and implement lasting fixes (not temporary solutions)Fabricate or modify parts using basic shop equipment as neededDocument maintenance activity and communicate effectively across shiftsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentWhat We're Looking For3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong electrical troubleshooting ability (non-negotiable)Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required)Knowledge of motors, drives (VFDs), hydraulics, and pneumaticsAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical drawingsMechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentComfortable working independently on night shift in a fast-paced environment
