Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Odessa, DE. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop effective communication skills, supporting their academic success and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students specific needs. Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' progress. Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies. Stay current with best practices and developments in speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Currentstate licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred. Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with a genuine passion for working with children.
