As a Surgical Technician, CST at MercyOne, your functions in the scrub role during intraoperative patient care, doing so as a delegated technical function under the direct supervision of the perioperative Registered Nurse. The provision of care is consistent through adherence to standards and support of the philosophies of Genesis Medical Center.Position Title: Surgical Technician, CST Department: Operating RoomSchedule:Day Shift (10am-6:30pm)Full Time .8 FTE (32 hours per week)General Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology; completion of surgical tech apprenticeship or military program.Or graduate of an LPN program with Surgical experience; or equivalent experience to demonstrate competency.CST certification preferred but not required in Iowa. CST certification is required if working in Illinois. LPN license is required if you are a graduate of an LPN program.No prior experience is required.BLS.
