Distribution Associate – Madison, GA

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr Friday | $19.50/hr Saturday & Sunday
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM
Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screening required

Job Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehouse and material distribution activities supporting the shipment of products.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders onto pallets.
• Use RF technology to process and track orders.
• Verify order accuracy and properly package shipments.
• Scan completed pallets and operate the shrink wrapper as needed.
• Perform ground/manual manifest station duties as assigned.
• Learn the responsibilities of other warehouse positions and provide backup support when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of relevant warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment (MHE) experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• General knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, twisting, lifting, and repetitive hand/wrist movements.
• May occasionally be required to climb.
• Lifting over 50 lbs. may be required in some areas.
• Must have corrected vision of 20/40 in each eye.
• Must have sufficient hearing to safely operate material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• Moderate to loud noise levels.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment and potentially precarious work situations.
• May experience temperature changes.
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.

Assignment Details

• Friday–Sunday schedule, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• $16.50/hr on Friday.
• $19.50/hr on Saturday and Sunday.
• 10-panel drug screening is required.
