This is a 2nd Shift role which includes an 8% shift premium. In this position, you will provide support to the production floor of the Hardware Integration Center (HWIC) in a prominent and highly visible test engineering capacity. This role is ideal for someone seeking a challenging opportunity to enhance their technical skill set with a focus on testing highly sophisticated Array systems. You will leverage your expertise to develop, test, modify, and implement solutions through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, while providing technical guidance for the testing and troubleshooting of complex Array systems. What You Will Do Support a fluid production environment in a test engineering role. Troubleshoot complex array level issues on the production floor and in the Near Field Range (NFR) Work from schematics and drawings to understand RF faults and troubleshoot utilizing common test equipment. Perform root cause analysis on systemic Array issues and flow back to feeder areas and/or suppliers to help in the troubleshooting of failed subassemblies. Analyze test data to identify potential issues using MATLAB Work diligently with union technicians on a daily basis throughout the test process. Interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding most urgent immediate needs in test. Review system level test data for compliance toward specifications. Interact with maintenance/test department to keep test stations fully functional. Develop/update factory test procedures as needed. Overtime (paid) may be required on an as needed basis. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years’ prior relevant experience. (1) year of integration, test, or troubleshooting experience. Experience using MATLAB to analyze data The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Prior experience testing complex arrays is highly desirable but not required. Demonstrated ability to interpret failing test data and navigate schematic diagrams to diagnose fault modes. Ability to understand radar systems technology in the areas of test and analysis. Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment. Experience preparing and executing factory test procedures. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
