Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service

Receptionists must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Receptionists must have compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients endure. The position requires patience and a pleasant disposition, with attention to detail.

VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time shifts available Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift, Monday-Friday. 1-2 Saturdays per month Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during weekdays and two Saturdays per month as needed. We are open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday – Friday, and Saturday 8:00am – 2:30 pm. Closed on Sundays. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Handles text and email communications Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area Documents and maintains client information Process payments Assist with basic administrative tasks and daily organization Participate in the training of new staff members and general team communication Qualifications High school diploma is a requirement. Must have at least 1 year of prior experience in customer service or similar role Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be compassionate and sympathetic and be able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations. Must have exceptional telephone and computer skills.
