You would be joining a company committed to "make it better" every day, for our customers and for our employees.We are looking for a licensed nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist or LPN. The ideal candidate will live within New York City (within the Boroughs of Manhattan/Brooklyn/Queens/The Bronx/Staten Island) and travel to facility locations across multiple locations in the greater New York City metropolitan area. Day travel and some overnights may be required including some early morning wound rounds based on facility schedules. Periodic (annual at minimum) corporate training may involve flight travel and hotel stays. Travel arrangements are made and paid for through our travel management system, with reimbursement of incidental expenses.We are committed to the health and safety of our employees and our customers. We require employees to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and to follow all CDC and CMS guidelines. We provide full PPE for each of our employees who are conducting facility visits. We also provide tools for telehealth for those facilities that need to be serviced remotely.Responsibilities:Working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisionsMonitoring proper application and utilization of wound care productsUnderstanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelinesEducating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirementsOrdering wound care products through our internal system "FastCare" for the residents to receive their productsSupporting facilities wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products coverage guidelinesRequirements:The ideal Wound and Product Specialist:Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hireMust have exemplary customer service skillsMust be business savvy, sales-mindedMust be a self-starter and work independentlyMust be hard-working and motivatedMust be organized and detail-orientedMust live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basisThis role has a pay range of $90,000 to $130,000 annually based off experience.
