Interventional Cardiology Physician Opportunity
Physician needed for locum tenens coverage in Rosenburg, Oregon. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on interventional cardiology. Coverage includes clinical duties and 24-hour call shifts. The role requires proficiency in various interventional procedures and the ability to manage a patient load of 14-16 patients per day in the clinic setting.
The facility provides support through a fully staffed office, including a medical assistant and a nurse practitioner. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech with a Patient Keeper interface. Temporary hospital privileges are available, and credentialing is expected to be completed within 30-120 days.
Required qualifications include board certification or eligibility in interventional cardiology, an active Oregon license, an active DEA number, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Experience in interventional cardiology fellowship or residency is necessary, along with a clean malpractice history and a self-query NPDB report.
