Veterinary Technician - Equine

Job Overview Seeking two full‑time veterinary technicians/assistants for a busy 5‑doctor practice. Positions will commence in late October and run through April in Wellington, Florida, and in Dover, New Hampshire from May to mid‑October. Travel between locations is required. Job Type Full‑time – 5–6 days a week, typically 40–50 hours per week. Overtime is compensated. Some weekend availability is a bonus. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians on calls Drive to appointments and transport patients Manage truck inventory and supplies Provide general equine care, including handling, jogging, and patient transportation Qualifications At least 2 years of prior equine experience, preferably in a sport‑horse setting. Positive attitude and excellent horse‑handling skills Ability to lift 50 lb and jog multiple horses a day Clean driving record Willingness to undergo background check and drug testing Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off (including sick time).
