Radiology Technician Per Diem, Surgery Center - Las Vegas, NV

Role Overview Responsible for performing radiographic procedures following departmental protocols, managing daily operations in the Imaging/General Radiology department, and ensuring high-quality patient care and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Produce diagnostic x-ray images based on physician orders, verifying accuracy and making necessary adjustments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients, verifying information, and explaining procedures while maintaining confidentiality. Accurately document imaging records using RIS, PACS, and other systems in compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies. Ensure image quality and proper processing, maintain equipment, and report technical issues. Maintain a clean, organized work environment and manage supplies. Follow safety standards, including radiation safety practices, and participate in team meetings and training. Work flexibly across modalities and sites as needed, maintaining licensure, certifications, and compliance with mandatory testing. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; completion or enrollment in an accredited Radiology program. Current Nevada radiology license or student tech license. Knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, safety, and quality assurance.
