The OTR Company Truck Driver plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely deliveries by operating company-provided standard box trucks. This position entails frequent travel with daily overnight trips and occasional extended trips, requiring strong knowledge of the trucking industry, including experience working with brokers and dispatchers. The driver is part of a small independent team and must be proficient in loading and unloading cargo, route planning, and maintaining safety and compliance throughout their routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-provided standard box trucks over the road daily, including overnight trips
• Load and unload cargo securely and efficiently
• Plan and optimize routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Manage all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with dispatch and brokers
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
• Secure cargo to prevent damage or loss during transport

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
