Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant
About the Company: Jefferson Hospital services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients and the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Job Description:As a CMA you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and clerical task in a primary care clinic.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, drawing blood, and performing preliminary physical test
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program
- BLS
