Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a CDL-A Driver for a reputable local company. This position focuses on hauling oversized or heavy equipment within a 60–90 minute radius of Dubuque. Drivers are home nightly and work year-round, with longer weeks in summer and steady hours through winter and spring.
Schedule: 8–10 hour days | Home every night
What You’ll Do:
Transport oversized or heavy equipment to job sites within a regional service area
Assist with loading and unloading using specialized trailers and equipment
Safely secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
Support additional shop or yard tasks as needed to maintain consistent hours
What We’re Looking For:
Valid CDL-A license
Experience hauling heavy or oversized equipment preferred
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours based on seasonal workload
Willingness to assist with loading/unloading using provided equipment
What You’ll Get:
