This position is focused on providing an independent, unbiased evaluation of materials and work to ensure compliance with the organization’s quality system requirements. Responsibilities Compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Audit materials or work through examination, inspection, measurement, or testing of raw materials, components, sub‑assemblies, final assemblies and associated documentation. Document non‑conformance or suspected non‑conformance to standards, complete required paperwork, system transactions, and apply stamp/signature. Handle discrepant materials per documented disposition and record activities in the appropriate systems or paperwork. Communicate audit metrics and assignment status verbally and through periodic reports. Perform simple statistical analysis by collecting and inputting data into software applications or manual calculations. Train new and less experienced Quality Auditors through on‑the‑job training, group sessions, and one‑on‑one guidance. Manage inventory by issuing, storing, counting, and maintaining records of storage areas. Handle, dispose, transfer, and document hazardous waste appropriately. Plan and organize non‑routine tasks with approval. Initiate or maintain work schedule and set priorities for work assignments. Solve complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of procedures and practices, selecting methods that provide thorough and practical solutions. Understand organizational structure and key employee positions. Maintain general knowledge of products and services associated with the area and specific product lines. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree is preferred. Minimum 4 years related work experience in a quality system environment. Solid knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and practices and a working understanding of related disciplines. Ability to perform complex assignments without established procedures and exercise considerable judgment, initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting and continuous quality improvement. Proficiency in statistical analysis, data collection, and use of software applications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Base pay ranges from $18.70 to $37.40 per hour; local pay may vary. Benefits Standard work shift; requires up to 5% traveling; medical surveillance is not applicable.
