As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you will provide intraoperative and postoperative nursing care within our facilities. Sign on bonus eligibility : $20,000 Schedule : Days Job Location Type : In Person How You’ll Contribute Provides intraoperative and postoperative nursing care. Safely and adequately provides and utilizes equipment and supplies based on unique patient need. Uses electronic nursing documentation for charging patient supplies per department policy and procedure. Evaluates patient outcomes. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Assesses the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patient and works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact State. Additional Requirements Basic Life Support certification is required.
