Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a Family Medicine Physician in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role is essential for delivering comprehensive healthcare services within our primary care clinic, adhering to established policies and standards.

Position Overview

The Family Medicine Physician will provide care tailored to a diverse patient demographic. Responsibilities include gathering thorough patient histories, performing complete physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, ordering necessary laboratory tests, and making referrals. Additionally, the physician will offer guidance to patients and their families regarding health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Chairperson of Family Medicine, ensuring high-quality medical and cardiac care for patients.
• Work exclusively in a clinical capacity, participating in 9 clinic sessions each week.
• Deliver all standard physician services typically found in a primary care setting.
• Oversee and guide the clinic's other clinical personnel, including Medical Assistants.
• Collect and process biological specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of patient charts and medical records.
• Manage the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals, coordinating with specialists as needed.
• Evaluate patients through physical examinations to establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Uphold high standards of medical practice and contribute to the training and development of the medical team.
• Assist in educating both patients and clinic staff on medical topics.
• Participate in the formulation of clinic protocols and make recommendations regarding chart information forms.
• Document all procedures, prescriptions, consultations, and patient interactions in the patient's chart and clinic encounter forms within 24 hours.
• Provide counseling to patients on medical issues that may impact their health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree (MD or DO) and a valid Florida Physician License are mandatory.
• A minimum of three years of experience in Family Medicine is required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Board certification in Family Medicine is essential.
