Mid Level Automotive Technician - Coram, NY

Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. Perform brake repairs, fluid flushes, preventive maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installations. Conduct system diagnostics and perform line technician services such as routine inspections and maintenance. Provide excellent guest service by communicating clearly about vehicle condition and progress. Document all work performed on the repair order and report any safety issues immediately to management. Mentor junior technicians and promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care. Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation, and perform manual tasks including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting. Qualifications Minimum 1 year automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance. Valid driver’s license and at least 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Commitment to learning new automotive technologies and staying current with industry changes. Strong analytical skills: ability to review, interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions. Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures. High school diploma or GED preferred. ASE certification preferred. Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests. Experience with electrical, air‑conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition systems. Shift Information Store hours may include 7 days a week, weekends, and certain holidays.
