Slickline Operator

Position: Slickline Operator

Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Casper, WY

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Slickline Operator to join their team!

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing, independently owned oilfield services company. The role offers the chance to step into a hands-on position with strong training support, room to grow, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Supervise slickline crews at the well site or shop
• Rig up and rig down slickline and pressure control equipment
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain tool strings and downhole equipment
• Perform slickline operations, including plugs, gauge runs, and fishing
• Monitor line tension, depth, speed, and well pressure
• Report unsafe or abnormal operating conditions immediately
• Complete inspections, job documentation, and maintenance records
• Support safe, professional operations at customer well sites

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
• Prior slickline, wireline, or oilfield experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to complete background check and drug screen
• No felony history
• Working knowledge of slickline tools and pressure control equipment
• Ability to understand well pressure, depth, and line tension
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• CDL
• Experience supervising small crews
• Familiarity with downhole tools and mechanical well interventions
• Previous experience with rigging up and rigging down equipment
• Background in plunger lift or fishing operations
• Ability to work in extended and irregular schedules
• Experience using job safety documentation and inspection records
