Avionics Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems Install, inspect, and test avionics equipment and components Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and operation of avionics systems Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accurate measurements Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures for avionics work Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve avionics issues Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Avionics Technician or related field Strong knowledge of electrical systems and avionics equipment Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and power tools Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in avionics maintenance Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints Knowledge of CATIA or other computer-aided design software is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail PLEASE NOTE: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
