We are committed to a culture that respects our differences and values the contributions of all people./ppJob Summary:/ppThe overall purpose of the Restorative Aide position is to assist in the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care to patients as appropriate, and to assist in the provision of regular patient care as may be directed./ph3Qualifications/h3pQualifications:/pulliState certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory./liliAbility to read, write, and speak the English language./li/ulpEssential Functions:/pulliProvide personal care to patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care./liliPerforms restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals training./liliPromotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for patients./liliAdvises Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) of Patients status daily./liliContributes knowledge of Patients conditions/needs to patient care plans./liliAssists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure./liliObserves and reports on Patients conditions and documents observations as required./liliPromotes safe and clean environment./liliComplies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of patients per established policies and procedures./liliAssists in care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment./liliAssures that equipment is clean and functional./liliAttends in-service training programs./liliAttends monthly Quality Assurance Meetings./liliResponsible for monthly and weekly weights./liliAttends weekly rehab meetings/liliAbility to function as a Team Leader/Role Model./liliHas reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employees responsibility to enforce it./liliAttends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems./liliResponsible for assuring patient/resident safety./liliPerforms other duties and tasks as assigned./li/ulpWe are an Equal opportunity employer; We offer an excellent benefit plan to include 401K with match, CEU reimbursement, vacation, sick, holidays, medical, dental, and supplemental insurance Plans as well as a Highly competitive compensation package./p/div
