Join us!The RoleProvide food and beverage service for banquet and arena functions within the Catering Department, including suite service, reception events, cart service, and other assigned catering functions.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRequired to read, understand and continually follow the Catering/Osceola Banquet Training GuideObtain Safe Staff training within 90 days of employmentFulfill the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO)Assist with set up and organization of catered eventServe food and beverage at events; provide excellent customer serviceMust be able to adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the company including alcohol and uniform policyAttention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a mustAssist with break down and cleanup of catered eventMaintain all Banquet equipment cleanlinessHands-on with all aspects of the Banquet Server dutiesOther duties as assignedEducation And Work ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience in the food service industryOne plus years of wait staff experienceQualificationsSome knowledge of the food and beverage industry is a plus Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks Ability to work independently or as a team Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Excellent communication and people person skills Clean professional appearancePhysical DemandsAble to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift and carry trays of ten entreesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
